If a manufacturer saves five bucks per unit in the course of manufacturing, when you multiply that by the total number of trucks you could be possibly looking at millions of dollars a year. Life sure would be easier if there was an access door built into pickup beds to aid in fuel pup replacement. Of course you still need to pull the dash to replace the heater core.
