United States Emergency Responder Struck-By Death notification by Todd Leiss

Florida District Six Road Ranger Service Patrol Operator, Mr. Jak Pereira was struck by a motorist, while assisting on an incident in Miami-Dade county on I-95 northbound before I-195. Mr. Pereira was transported to a local trauma center due to injuries sustained from the crash and succumbed to his injuries on Friday, July 01, 2022
 
There have been 33 United States Emergency Responders struck and killed in 2022. 1 safety service patrol operator, 12 law enforcement officers, 8 fire/ems personnel, 9 tow truck operators, and 3 road service technicians.
 
Please keep Mr. Pereira, his family, co-workers, and friends in your prayers and please slow down and move over for all emergency responders.
