The Reynolds’s family has been dedicated to the towing Industry since before 1972. R.I.P Dan thank you for all you did! Obituary Daniel Leslie “Dan”, Reynolds 74, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Doey’s House, Hagerstown, MD. Born June 18, 1948, in Waynesboro, PA, son of the late Victor K. and Mildred (Bowman) Reynolds. He graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1967. He and his wife of 49 years, Darlene (Davis) Reynolds, were married in 1973. Dan was President & CEO at Danco Products, on Cedar Lane in Greencastle. It all began January 1, 1973, when Dan took his assets from the Jerr-Dan Corporation to form Danco Products. It started out as a sub machine shop for local industries, and transformed, with Dan’s leadership, into the successful, innovative, towing and hauling equipment manufacturing company that it is today. He was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church, Greencastle, Potomac Fish and Game, Williamsport MD. He was the former president of Greencastle Antrim Area Development Corporation and a former member of Greencastle Lions Club. Dan enjoyed the outdoors, especially the time he spent working on the family farm, as well as hunting and fishing on the farm. He was a determined man who loved his family as well as his church family and his Danco family. In addition to his wife, Darlene, he is survived by two sons: William Reynolds and his wife, Jamie, Greencastle, and Robert Reynolds, Greencastle; three grandchildren: Jelissa, Zakary and Wesley Reynolds; one great-granddaughter, Journie; two sisters: Joyce Dehart, and her husband, Dennis, Mesa, AZ and Dorothy Deibert, Waynesboro, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Reynolds. A Memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Bible Church, 350 Madison St. Greencastle, with Pastor Jeff Ehko officiating. The service date and time is pending. The obituary will be updated with that information as soon as it is available. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Bible Church, 350 W Madison St, Greencastle, PA 17225. Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling the arrangements.
