When was the 480 introduced??

Don't quote me but I believe it was 1967 or 1968 and was rated a 8 ton Wrecker. We also had one on a 72 Ford F-350. It was #212 that is were my "Michael 212" came from. They sure beat the cone clutch units (460's, 470's, & 515's) not by power but with ease of use.
