EdsTowing
Had this one come in yesterday. kid was traveling from Tennessee to Allentown Pa...I picked this up about 8 miles above our shop, 50 miles north of Allentown & heading North so it's fair to say he was lost... He said that the trailer came off & hit the tree.... But I'm pretty confident that he hit the tree & ripped the trailer off. His Mountaineer had a RF flat so I asked him what he hit & he said nothing. He didn't need a tow, was going to change the tire himself... Broke both safety chains & tripped the brakes. The coupler was still closed... Hit the red car that was parked there & nearly this black one too. It destroyed both axles, ripped the beams open & tires off... Trailer is destroyed, both sides, front, roof torn open down the whole right side...loaded with junk. Kid changes his tire...and puts a flat spare on it?. I told him now he's cooking with gas! You can see the assembly is pushed back 3-4" and if the tire had air, it would be rubbing. I looked under it and the control arm was bent...but he felt it would be fine... still on the jack... It bent the hitch bar itself which is pretty hard so I'm confident it was still hooked up when it hit the tree... Brought it back and tarped it so his xbox didn't get wet...

EdsTowing
The kid finally came back this past week to get his stuff. We towed the salvage up to the Uhaul facility along with another unit w/ a bad transmission....
