The Tow Times August issue focus is lowboy trailer-type transport and industrial car carriers. Articles include “Getting into the Specialized Transport Business,” “Trailer Options for Towing and Transport” and “Adding an Industrial Car Carrier to the Fleet.” Peter Fuerst of the International Institute of Towing and Recovery addresses using parking brakes on tow trucks, and this month’s Recovery Review department features operators from Mast Brothers Enterprises Inc. recovering a tractor and ruptured trailer — and extensive scene clean-up of it’s load of wood chips.
