A Florida Highway Patrol Road Ranger is in critical but stable condition at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce after his patrol car was struck while he was working the scene of a jackknifed tractor trailer truck on I-95.1 The incident occurred at about 9:49 p.m. Monday, June 28, near Mile Marker 107 on I-95 in Palm City. The Road Ranger had positioned his vehicle in the left lane to set up a lane closure and as he attempted to set up a lane closure The vehicle was struck by a gray Toyota.
