is this a scam? request to tow a load, tommorrow 4500 pounds, 4 pallets of fencing to a location 1300 miles away in arizona? is there really no material between bend oregon and southern arizona

so got a call and an email regarding a 1300 mile tow leaving bend oregon to nogalez arizona. wants to pay with a credit card over the phone. wanted to know if it would be a virtual terminal or a physical machine!!!! which really set off the scam radar.  just seems to weird to be real.  guy calls from an LA area number and texted from the same number.

 

we had plenty of text to voice scams asking us to pickup cars from an airport and hold them....and then accept a cashiers check for payment.... this is a first for this one.

so update, was a scam. burned the store for 3300 and some poor bastard took a stolen cc for a llllllooooonnnnnngggggg trip. sad days
