EdsTowing
We are still running at "999" every day.... It's snows in some form or other, every day.... Had this plow truck get too far towards the edge & got sucked in... It had a good jag of material in the box that blew out when it went over... A heavy single axle can be unpredictable. They aren't very stable to start with. I under estimated my 1st "bite" since we were working in a tight quarters. Set up with a high line to the low side to lift out of the ditch and a lower pull to a rim sling to roll it back over & control... Coming up she started to tilt my truck off the ground on the far side. The axle & inner tire caught up on the black top & frost line which added some resistance I wasn't expecting. So I set it down & repositioned my truck closer & swung my steer axle in to the snow bank more. Then it lifted right up & out...taking a piece of the road with it... Once the rear was out, I pulled ahead and just finished the pull up & out. We looked it over and other then a broken hood strap, it faired pretty well... Had a lean to it from the materiel laying on that side. They were going to dump it and then give it a full evaluation... On to the next one...
