Dude, where's my car?

Got a call from an older gentleman this morning.

He stated that he thought his car had been stolen, called the local police, then discovered this!  Old Lincoln had jumped out of park & rolled down into a ravine behind his home.

Used 2 lines to steer it between the trees as I was unable to enter the car in th position it was in.

Poor guy... At least is wasnt really stolen.. lol.

Nice work on the recovery. Did it sustain any damage on the way down? Looks to be in one piece from the pics.

The car had a crushed right quarter panel & the exhaust was wrapped around the rear end...surely totaled as it was a 91 Town Car.  I am just glad it didn't happen when anyone was around the car...could have been a real tragedy.

Look at the old Jerr Dan work, good job.  We have a company around here that would have called in their rotator, I guess if you have one you have to make work for it.

I LOVE my Jerr Dan "Cougar".  By far the most versatile truck I've ever used. Ever since I had the Mico brake lock installed it's a winching BEAST!
