TowZone Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 09 Nov 2017 17:08 ESC Wrote, Yesterday afternoon we ran into a very difficult situation. I️ wanted to thank Nsd MotorClub as well as Sanatoga Auto Body for helping us take care of a customer in need! We were given a dispatch for a tow by NSD Motorclub from Route 422 in the area of Armand Hammer Blvd going to Upper Darby. We were advised upon dispatch that the customer was deaf and may need special accommodations. When Chris arrived on scene he traveled the section of 422 and was unable to find he customer. Multiple attempts were made to reach the customer which were unsuccessful. We were able to find that the customer had been towed from 422 by Sanatoga Auto Body for the police department. Chris headed there to pickup the vehicle. We made contact with Paul at Sanatoga Auto and he advised us of a $125 charge that was owed for the police tow. After Chris arrived he and Paul attempted to have the customer make payment. Due to communication problems and some other issues, the vehicle owner was unable to pay. For those of you who don’t know how towing road clubs typically work, this is the point that we would have normally had to cut our loses and walk away. But NSD is a great club to work with. I️ made a call to Axel (our rep at NSD) and a few minutes later Axel was able to approve an additional $125 payment for the tow service. This was above and beyond for any road club, not to mention it exceeded the customers assigned benefit limits. Axel and NSD, Thank You! The next problem we ran into was that Sanatoga Auto typically only takes cash or check. Our operator only had a company credit card with him. Paul at Sanatoga Auto Body allowed us to mail them a $125 check to cover the payment. In the end, Chris was able to load the customer’s vehicle and get her back to our shop where Bill could finish the trip home to Upper Darby. All at no additional cost to the customer who was clearly having a very bad day. Huge thanks to Axel and NSD, Paul at Sanatoga Auto Body, as well as Chris and Bill for getting the job done! Central Towing GA said: I couldn't agree more. We have invoicing issues on the portal and all it takes is one email to our rep and he submits it for us and adds additional equipment that dispatchers cant quite understand. NSD has moved a long way in our book.
