Another weird one made easy from NSD

Simple tire change call came in last night from NSD with no special information. Our driver arrived and found the customer had attempted to change the tire and it fell off the jack causing minor damage to the fender. Since it was so low to the ground our jack wouldn’t fit. He was able to lift the vehicle using the engine mount. The tire was installed and the customer went on his way. I contacted our NSD rep an hour ago and have already been approved for an additional half hour of winching time for the added work. NSD makes helping their customers so much easier than all other clubs.

Those flimsy jacks should be outlawed or at least come with a warning. That would not have happened if they had only set the parking brake. They hate to hear that word of advise after getting them back on track. I cannot chance the tire for them but I can assist them. If they cannot do it themselves then they need to call a Tow Truck or Road Service and Pay them.

I like the calls I get to just use my jack and I tell them it will cost . They think I sounld drive there set and wait for them to change the tire for free because I don't do no work LOL

I too wish those jacks were not provided.  They are too dangerous, especially when people have no idea what they are doing.  This situation should have been prevented.  They had coverage, they should have just waited for us to come and change the tire the right way the first time.

I know I left a few of you scratching your heads as to why I can't take their money. Seriously, I can explain off the forum.

Maybe that is one of the reasons cars are not coming with spares.
