Here is one I did the other day,this 4x4 manlift was bottomed out in the mud and then let freeze down overnight.I took my 4x4 F-550 with the Chevron unit, it was a very hard pull, I had 2 blocks in each line to break it free but I got it out.
 
The customer was satisfied because he didn't think the small unit would bring it out,I would have usually used a medium duty but it was behind the construction site and it was pretty muddy.

oh yes, the construction sites. I will bet the operator never even seen the manhole. the ground is always soft next to the manholes and where they trench in utilities...always sweet spots for recoveries.
