3ed Party Authentication, Social Sign In and 2 Factor Auth.

We now can use Google+, along with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn for logging in to the site. you can use 1 or you can use all 4 to login. 

You will still have a user name and password to fall back on in login if one of these services fails. This does make the board more user friendly.

 

Some user account's now have access to Two Factor Authentication using Google Authenticator this is free system that will show a code on an app on the Google smartphone app which you will then need to enter. This allows to secure your account using an additional layer of security in addition to the normal username and password or social sign in.

 

Things on my Todo list to do with this is

 -Allow Status Imports from FaceBook.

 -Share Post immediately to FaceBook when posting - If a user has signed in with Facebook they will see a checkbox when submitting content to share it on Facebook after posting. (you can already do this with the twitter login)

 -Enable Sign-on's from Microsoft accounts.
