A tow operator was killed in a crash on I-15 southbound northeast of Las Vegas Valley on Monday, July 10. The operator was driving an Isuzu flatbed tow truck that collided with the rear of a large Army National Guard vehicle traveling slower than the tow truck.

The Nevada Highway Patrol, which responded to the crash at approximately 3 p.m., stated that the tow truck, loaded with an SUV, failed to slow down when it approached the slower-moving National Guard vehicle and rear-ended the vehicle.

The operator, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident.
