  1. Called in as a rolled dump about 2 hours from shop. Too far to tie up rotators so 2 9055s dispatched. Upon arrival we found loaded trailer had gone over on a slight grade at full extension. It broke fifth wheel plate from trailer frame and busted bottom of cylinder from plate. While surveying damage we were notified by property owners it's a not for profit adult care center, there mulch being dumped was for potted plants inn the greenhouses sold to pay for the budget of the center. We were also told no fluid could be spilled while collapsing cylinder. We pushed frame back by hand and secured with strap for the recovery. Using a 9055 we lifted on cylinder and unhooked tractor so he could relocate. Parking tractor next to wrecker, with rears facing towards trailer it allowed us to rehook cylinder to tractor. During the collapse of cylinder tractor was able to roll backwards downhill while wrecker collapsed cylinder. Tractor recaptured all fluid with barely a spilled drop. While waiting on local service with torches to cut cylinder pin we found out that a neighboring landscape business was willing to donate an operator and skid steer to clearing the trailer. So the operator came over and spent no time at all clearing the remaining load. What we had left was a light aluminum trailer, empty that needed to roll up a slight grade. With limited space we rigged a multipart line to stab the front axle. Rigged to a single blue roundsling in between set of duals. She came up, smooth as could be and landed just as smooth. We cleared the scene, made sure any damaged pieces made its way back into trailer. Made it back with out a hiccup, on to the next one. still having issues posting, about 7 images were uploaded but it did not post to thread
  2. I uploaded pictures, they ended up on tow.photos not sure how to get them into post
  3. Mixer called in as empty, rolled over into ditch. 80ton rotator and 2 9055s dispatched. Mixer turned out to have 8.5 yards on, moved over to let truck pass and soft shoulder pulled him over. Arriving on scene found low hanging trees and narrow road preventing rotator from getting a good setup, so it was decided to have 9055 stab front axle and partial lift while 80 did primary lift. Brought it up onto road where it was secured and removed to customers yard.
  4. FedEx contractor traveling east bound morning hours in one of many rainy days. We were called, basic description was tractor was trashed, loaded doubles overturned. Dispatched 80t B&B and 2 9055s as well as rollback for debris. On scene we had found truck and trailers had both spun 180° and ended up in west bound ditch with only 1 double overturned. The doubles were detached from each other leaving 1 upright combination. 80ton rotator rigged to keep trailer upright during its winch out of the ditch by 1 if the 9055s. The overturned pup was then out righted, dolly left attached. Also like the first, 80 rigged to hold it upright while remaining 9055 pulled trailer to the shoulder where it was then removed from scene. Note: Lane closure was very minimal. Removed from scene as soon as it was hooked. Tractor delivered to body shop and trailers both delivered to Fedex facility.
