  1. Toyota Yaris, automatic with a 'left foot accelerator' conversion. This is the second time that this has happened with this car!! Seems there is some confusion between which pedal does what. Select reverse, floor it, across the grass, through two brick walls. Still flat out, select drive, go forward and stop on top of the brick pillar that you just knocked down! There was surprisingly little damage to the car, considering where it had just been. We lifted it with the knuckle boom to get the bricks out from under........ ........powered out and slewed around..... ........and out. Car was, apart from flat front tyre, still drivable. bosstow said: gota love that speed crane. i want one!!!!! Unknown Member asked: why would they move the gas pedal? Nick Ovenden replied: The driver has a false leg, the right one. It is quite a common thing over here for right leg amputees to have the pedal moved to the left. Topic Originally Created 02.19.07:
