  1. Those look like a homemade version of the Weldbilt 3-piece dollies just a heck of a lot lighter😁. If memory serves me, you would lift one end of the vehicle then assemble the dollies & roll them under the vehicle. Then lower it onto the dollies & hook the vehicle from the other side & off you went. Some of us back in the day used to cheat. hook & lift one end up high & using jack stands put far back on each side roll the dollies under. Then lower it & pull the stands out & off you went.
  2. Welcome to my world at night. If it's not these clowns it's either the wanna-be tough guys fueled up on liquid courage or the hostile homeless..
  3. March 2 2018, I too don't remember how long I've been here & don't know how much longer I'll be here. You know you're old when a young guy picking up a car in a shiny new Rollback points to the old p/u w/the Illusion in the corner & asks what's the thing hanging off the back with the rubber straps.[tow-sling] I'll admit I have learned a lot of little tricks here that made my life easier. Rob
  4. Still here for now. Repo work has dropped almost to nothing since March so debating switching to a different type of towing or just retiring altogether. Rob
  5. Regarding the Sunlight damaging the dolly tires. Mine sit in the open p/u bed of my Repo truck & being in Florida I had that problem. While at a Marine dealer one day getting a Vol Repo I saw some Canvas/Nylon tire covers for boat trailers that happened to fit my dolly tires. Problem solved no more Sun cracked tires. Rob
  6. I was just told by one of the local AAA drivers that the Orlando, Fla show is this month [June], anyone else heard of this? Rob
  7. I've ran into this issue before. I don't know if this helps but I've put my wireless light-bar [green one] inside the car either behind the rear seats or on the dash depending which end I was towing from. A long while ago I had some suction cup attachments from A-W Direct but they never quite worked for me. Maybe I was doing something wrong, they wouldn't stay put. Rob
