He had been out for an Abandoned vehicle for OHP and made an non-emergency turn around through the center divider. About 1200 feet later he was rear ended by another vehicle causing the vehicle on the bed to break free and caused major damage to the rollback wrecker. 11. Jonathan Dilley, (Fat Alans Towing & Recovery) Fat Alan’s, friends and family mourn the loss of the original owner David Moore aka “Pops”. For those who knew pops he was a crazy fun character. Pops fought a long and hard battle, and stuck it out till the very end. He was caring, blunt, helpful, knowledgeable and all around a genuine man. He now gets to be with his son who he has missed dearly, Alan, whom he named the tow truck company after he passed in a tow truck years ago. You will be missed greatly and we will continue to carry on you and Alan’s legacy you created for us. His funeral will be held at 11am on Thursday 6/16/22 and life church at i240 and walker. If you have a truck available to be there you’re more than welcome to come out and show support. We are all a big family that looks out for each other and I know we get busy but if you could, please do. Thank you.
