  1. If I didn't just get a new international, I'd be all over that!
  2. I bought this truck new and am only driver. It is still in service so miles will go up slightly. Just under 50,000 miles, 6.7L diesel. Put new tires on rear for snow, original continentals are included. While truck was covered under warranty it was always serviced at local Ford dealer. Afterwards it was done in house. Has two tool boxes and synthetic winch rope, minimizer 22.5 plastic fenders (I know the truck has 19.5 on it 😄). I upgraded to a 10,000 lbs winch when truck was ordered. 22' jerr dan with lodar wirelss remote. Averages about 9.5mpg. Very dependable truck. Anyone interested is welcome to PM me for my email. Please do not call the phone number listed on the truck.
  3. I used to run snow dogg blue plow oil in my 2003 jerr-dan bed all year round because it performed good in subzero temperatures. Has anyone else tried this in newer equipment (or at all)? I bought my 2017 brand new and am about to do a hydraulic oil change in it for the first time since it was built and am contemplating making the switch?
  4. Seems like that's a common trend from what I see and hear Derlyn... I found a decent used 2019 f550, 142K on it $95k and its as is. Hopefully your truck is delivered soon, KW and Petes are my favorite chassis.
  5. I know were still living in "covid times" but good grief trying to find a new 4wd wrecker is a total nightmare still! Is anyone having ok luck locating new equipment?
  6. I wonder why he didn't just hook it from the front, get under it and disconnect the shift linkage to put in neutral?
  7. I'm located in NY and here i file for a garageman's lien. The state (after about 30-45 days) will send me documentation in my DBA name proving after we foreclose on the lien, we're legal owner of the vehicle. Its roughly $100.00 and total legitimate. Maybe PA has the same statue?
  8. Pretty north, about 1.5 hrs above Syracuse.
  9. Ed, are your windows on the excavator tinted?
  10. I'm interested in pricing a new Chevy 4x4 wrecker with a v24 bed and am wondering if anyone had any input on dealers to deal with in the north east?
  11. its DEFINATLEY worth it, I added it myself to my rollbacks winch function, and love it. Worth its weight in gold in some circumstances
  12. Doesn't even looked like they dragged it at all either 😄
  13. Just got thinking today about disposal of abandoned vehicles we tow in. Does anyone on here donate these to charity for a write off, or have any input on this topic? Thanks
  14. My semi local subcontractor for copart told me $1.00 loaded mile, he's a pretty honest guy, but I can barley believe that to be true?
  15. So this guy scrapped his own classic car to prove a point? All I got from it Is he's a drama queen
  16. No point in taking the liability for someone elses mistake!
  17. Ed do you guys remove driveshafts in these situations? how does the autoloader arms react when lifting a truck that heavy?
  18. Times change, vehicles change, rates should be adjusted accordingly. non-consent tow a-ways are getting tougher and tougher, maybe you can explain the issue to higher-ups?
