Has anyone put their Towmate Transmitter inside the tail light housing? I haul mostly with one on the bed and one on the wheel lift all day. Wondering about mounting my new Towmate Transmitter inside the tail light housing so it won't have the ability to sprout legs and disappear. The salesman mentioned this is sometimes an issue. If I drill a small hole and put the antenna wire out will it work ok, or do I even need to drill a hole since they are advertised to reach 1000ft. Just trying to save wear and tear on removing it several times a day.
