With all that iron on the rear it's sure to be close to being overweight on a tandem by the time you get done adding sides, etc. Just my thoughts... take it for what it's worth....about .02 cents. Lots of work building it from scratch but the good thing is you will know your truck in and out and and build it how you want not to mention pride & joy. It will be a very good machine when you finish. I wish I had the talent and the time... rustytowing said: #1 question The cylinder is to big to go into the ext. boom. The ext. boom is a little over 1'' thick. #2 question It will not be an NRC. We are building our own under reach that is 120'' reach and all sections will be over 5/8 thick. But will lift and tilt by boom. Wrecker44 said: What a machine! That's gonna be a beast no doubt.
