Ohare Towing

We want to thank MISSION BBQ for donating lunch yesterday to our O’Hare Towing Crew and Andrew’s family to enjoy. Your generosity during this difficult time is appreciated more than you could ever imagine. Also thank you to all those who have called, messaged and sent flowers, we are so lucky to be in an industry that is so supportive. We also want to thank DuPage County Health Department for sending out three amazing women last night from their crisis team to offer grief counseling to our crew. For those asking, there will be no truck processional but only a private memorial for Andrews family, friends and O’Hare Staff. Again, thank you to everyone for the kind words and messages. 💚

It’s with a heavy heart that we share tragic news that happened this morning. While responding and accident for the Illinois State Police District Chicago one of our O’Hare Operators was struck and killed by a passing motorist at 06:03am on I-290 east bound near 9th ave. Due to the ongoing investigation, we have no further details. We are absolutely heart broken for all those involved. We ask that you keep our operator’s family and our team in your thoughts and prayers. This is a tragic reminder why slowing down and moving over is important for all emergency vehicles. - Bill, Marci and Katie Gratzianna
