California: F250 for a Light Duty Tow Business
Greetings! I became unemployed a couple of months ago and I'm looking for a way to start making some money. I purchased a 2010 F250 Super Duty with the 6.4l diesel late last year to tow my travel trailer, and I figure it would be awesome to start using it as an actual work truck. I found a few frame mounted wheel lift options that seem ideal for towing cars, vans, and light duty pickups, and since I already have the truck it seems a minimal additional investment. Recovery with industrial carrier
How hard can you pull with an industrial carrier. I know the unit we are looking at has a 20k winch but I guess the real question is can the bed with stand the added strains of recovery? Or would we still need to send a wrecker? These units seem to make perfect sense for f450 and 550 type trucks. But is it realistic to think it’s capable of doing both the recovery portion and the towing portion. We have other uses for the truck but I was hoping it could have some added versatility.
