May 2, 2018 A woman was arrested in her home state of Arkansas Wednesday in connection with the 2017 death of local tow truck driver Scott Bowles, who was struck and killed while working on I-14 in Harker Heights, according to Bowles' family and a law enforcement official. Sybil Warrick was taken into custody in Fort Smith on a Texas warrant charging her with criminally negligent homicide, according to a jail employee in Sebastian County, Ark. Bowles' wife, Stephanie, was informed five minutes after the arrest was made at 4:40 p.m. "I'm thankful justice is being served," Stephanie said. "I'm grateful for the action taken by Harker Heights Police and the district attorney to get charges filed." Bowles said she was waiting to see if Warrick waved extradition.
